VOICE ACTING MASTER CLASS
Join award-winning voice actor Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld for a four week voice acting intensive! Dive into the areas of animation, video game, and commercial voice over; with the course culminating in a VO industry bootcamp. You’ll receive one-on-one coaching and direction, industry knowledge and expertise, and walk away with professionally recorded voice samples.

CURRICULUM:
Week 1: Animation
What makes a great cartoon performance? Students will be given animation scripts and will be led through a professional voiceover session & be given the tools to develop characters & bring their unique takes to each scene.
Week 2: Video Games
What distinguishes video game performances from other types of voice acting? Students will learn to perform the different varieties of video game acting.
Week 3: Commercials
Who are you talking to? Students will be given the tools to nail their commercial auditions with practical techniques.
Week 4: Choose Your Own Adventure / Industry Bootcamp
Students will be asked to come in with copy from one of the voiceover areas we covered in class & receive additional direction and coaching. We will also have a Q&A to answer any unanswered questions about how to truly level up in the voiceover industry.

Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld is a Society of Voice Arts Award-winning voice actor best known for her roles as Bonnie, Nurse Joy & Sophocles on Pokémon, Aina Ardebit in Promare; Strawberry Shortcake on Strawberry Shortcake; Polly Pocket on Polly Pocket; Olivia on Nella the Princess Knight; Rio Kastle, Queen, Grace & Gloria Tyler on Yu-Gi-Oh!; Kujaku on Go! She can also be seen performing theatre in New York City (most recently in the critically-acclaimed Once Upon A Mattress), and on-screen in her web series Crumbly Kitchen. She has taught countless voice acting workshops at comic cons around the world and coached numerous professional actors through auditions and building their voiceover demos.
